-write their own imagined scene

-apply their knowledge of the character’s motivations, feelings, and actions
-read and perform Reader's Theater
-compare scenes from different plays
-build fluency
-read aloud and re-enact excerpts from scripts
-analyze scripts
MATH: Solving word problems that involve various measurements, multiplication, and/or division using different strategies, answer statements, modeling/illustrating, and explaining with written words
SCIENCE: Is it Hot Enough? Investigating heat as thermal energy. While investigating heat, students will conduct experiments involving conduction, convection, friction, insulation, and radiation.
